Description

Licence types

An exclusive licence means that a pattern or artwork, once purchased, will be licensed once only. It will not be licensed again to any other party for any other purpose. A pattern purchased exclusively can be used by the person/company named in the contract for a time period of two years from the date of purchase. The copyright is always retained by Julia Reader Creates.

A non-exclusive licence means that a pattern or artwork, once purchased, can be licensed across multiple categories. It can only be sold once per category. The pattern can be used by the business named in the contract for a time period of two years from the date of purchase, but only in the category stipulated in the contract. The copyright is always retained by Julia Reader Creates.

If you wish to purchase a non-exclusive licence across multiple categories, please contact me.

Pattern details

The pattern is supplied as a CMYK jpeg file sized at 3000px x 3000px at 300dpi. A different file type can be supplied if requested. The pattern should only be used as a repeating pattern, and should not be modified, or have any elements extracted, for any other purpose. If you would like to use elements of the design, or need changes to the design once purchased, please contact me and we can discuss.

The contract

Once a pattern is purchased, a contract will be generated and sent via email. This contract will stipulate the terms of use, and will include the licence type, category (if non-exclusive) and the person/company to whom the pattern may be used. The pattern must not be used by any other person/company that is not included in the contract. The copyright of the pattern is always retained by Julia Reader Creates.
