September Watercolour Short-Course

The 4-week short course is for the beginner who wishes to dive deeper into their watercolour practice. Not only will this course include the same fundamentals as the other workshops types, but you will also touch on drawing, understand the basics of colour theory and use other mediums that will enhance your watercolour work.
The benefit of the four-week course is that you have a chance to go home and practice in between lessons and come back loaded with questions! It is a more in-depth look at watercolour. I am there each week to answer your questions.
“I had a lovely time learning with you”.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A WORKSHOP?
Each workshop offers you an opportunity to explore the medium of watercolour. You will learn the fundamentals through a series of exercises, all of which come together to create a final painting. I will demonstrate everything first, and I always encourage you to ask questions and seek my help if you need.
All materials are supplied for you, so all you have to do is bring yourself and some optimism. Watercolour should not be daunting – in fact, it will probably leave you feeling quite relaxed when you leave.
I have designed these workshops to be the perfect combination of learning and fun. My aim is for you to know enough to continue on at home, and with practice, perfect your skills so that you feel confident.
WORKSHOP FAQs
I haven’t painted since kindergarten. Can I still come?
Of course you can! My workshops are aimed at the absolute beginner, and if you can hold a paintbrush you are ready to come along! I explain my way through the workshop and encourage everyone to ask questions.
Do I need my own materials?
I supply all materials, so the only thing you need to bring is some optimism and a smile. You are more than welcome to bring your own materials if you’d prefer.
Do you cater for those with food requirements i.e. Coeliac disease?
Yes I do! Please get in touch with me as soon as possible so that I can arrange a suitable option for you.
Can I get a refund on my ticket if I cannot attend?
Whilst I will be as understanding as possible with regard to refund requests, please understand that I reserve the right to refuse a refund for ticket purchases. No refunds will be issued if cancelled within 36 hours of the workshop. Refund requests must be emailed to me and I will respond promptly.
