Join me at Confession on Friday 12 November from 7-9:30pm as we take a casual approach to learning the basics of watercolour. This social evening is where you can be as serious or as casual as you like about learning the fundamentals of the medium of watercolour. I’ve organised all the materials – all you have to do is organise a group of friends or family to share the evening with! Ticket includes a glass of wine, a cheese platter and all materials.

Painting + Pizza & Platters

The Apple Farm

Painting, Pizza + Platters – a fun and festive watercolour workshop at the Apple Farm on Saturday 4th December, 11:30am-2:30pm.

Join me as I share with you the basics of watercolour painting. We will paint some Christmas-inspired gift tags & cards. There will be plenty of paper available for you to unleash your creativity!

Before we get into painting you will be treated to a delicious shared pizza & platter lunch. We will allow one hour for lunch and two hours for painting. All materials are included and drinks can be purchased from the Apple Farm. Did I mention that cocktails are on the drinks menu? #yesplease

Looking for Christmas party ideas or ways to celebrate the end-of-year? This workshop would suit smaller groups, a friends get-together, a treat-yo-mum day, or a kid-free catch-up. For larger groups (of 10+), please contact me and we can arrange a private function just for you!

“Thank you so much for a well-run workshop. I am definitely coming to the next one.”

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A WORKSHOP?

Each workshop offers you an opportunity to explore the medium of watercolour. You will learn the fundamentals through a series of exercises, all of which come together to create a final painting. I will demonstrate everything first, and I always encourage you to ask questions and seek my help if you need.

All materials are supplied for you, so all you have to do is bring yourself and some optimism. Watercolour should not be daunting – in fact, it will probably leave you feeling quite relaxed when you leave.

I have designed these workshops to be the perfect combination of learning and fun. My aim is for you to know enough to continue on at home, and with practice, perfect your skills so that you feel confident.

WORKSHOP FAQs

I haven’t painted since kindergarten. Can I still come?

Of course you can! My workshops are aimed at the absolute beginner, and if you can hold a paintbrush you are ready to come along! I explain my way through the workshop and encourage everyone to ask questions.

Do I need my own materials?

I supply all materials, so the only thing you need to bring is some optimism and a smile.

Do you cater for those with food requirements i.e. coeliac disease?

Yes I do! Please get in touch with me as soon as possible so that I can arrange a suitable option for you.

Can I get a refund on my ticket if I cannot attend?

Please refer to the refund terms and conditions at Eventbrite. In short, I will refund tickets up to one week before the event. After that date, no refunds are available.
